Woman's car hack stops your windscreen from freezing overnight

But now, you can sleep in a little longer as a woman has shared a simple hack she uses to ensure her car is frost-free when she leaves the house - meaning there's no need to wait an age for it to defrost.

The woman, under the username @kirstennp_ on TikTok, revealed that she lays a large bath towel across the entire length of her windscreen in the evening and leaves it there overnight.

As temperatures drop in the early hours, the towel will absorb water and freeze rather than the windscreen.

Since being shared, the video has racked up more than 150,000 likes and 1,700 comments from people praising the incredible hack.
